 Founded in 1982 by two friends and former work colleagues from the Australian food and pharmaceutical industry. Ancient Distributors Pty Ltd was established to supply nationally various local and imported shelf stable foods and personal care products to supermarkets and health food stores. As the company grew it developed and added it’s own brand, ‘Mayver’s Health Time’ foods with special emphasis on natural, healthy and functional properties.

Today its products are available from over 2500 retail outlets.
The company is based in Melbourne’s southeast suburb, Dandenong, about 35km from the CBD. It occupies modern warehouse and office facilities.  Experienced and skilled staff process manual and sophisticated electronic trading systems to accommodate the requirements of individual consumer purchases to major trading partner orders.
Brokerage and warehousing services are offered while dedicated trained Merchandisers ensure the company’s products are available on supermarket shelves.
